About this course

Customer lifetime value (CLV) is the total amount, both past and predicted, a customer will purchase over their lifetime. In Klaviyo, we track customers' past purchases, as well as predict their future purchase behavior. This course walks through the basic terms you'll need to know to understand CLV in Klaviyo, and then covers some best practice ideas for using CLV data.

In this course, we'll cover: 

  • Grouping customers by CLV using a Klaviyo CLV Calculation Template tool
  • Using CLV to find high-value customers
  • Showing different forms based on a target's CLV
  • Gaining insight into your customers via CLV data

Take this course if: 

You're looking to level up with Klaviyo by using customer lifetime value to better target your customers. In addition, you need to meet the following pre-requisites for predictive analytics: you have at least 500 customers who have placed an order, an ecommerce integration or use Klaviyo's API to send placed orders, at least 180 days of order history and orders within the last 30 days, and at least one customer who has placed three or more orders.
