APIs are everywhere
If you search for "Boston" on Google, you will see not only links from across the web, but also images, a map, weather, and travel information.
How does all of this information get to your browser? The answer is APIs. Software companies like Google use APIs to share data between multiple pieces of software. For example, when you make your search, Google makes an API call to weather.com, which returns up-to-date data about Boston's weather that is rendered directly in your browser.
Klaviyo has its own set of APIs that allow you to send information to and from Klaviyo. Throughout this course, we will see many examples of API calls in Klaviyo, and you will practice making your own API calls. Ready to get started?
