A polished form that meets compliance standards builds trust and enhances your brand's reputation with potential customers. Follow these action steps to perform a quality check to catch any grammatical errors or design issues that might deter visitors from signing up.
Preview your form
Use Klaviyo's preview feature to see how the form will look on different devices and browsers. This will help you ensure that the form is mobile-friendly and accessible to everyone.
Look out for common errors
Check off this list as you preview each step of your form to prevent common errors:
- Ensure compliance with GDPR or CCPA:
Include a link to your privacy policy, and drag-and-drop the text message disclosure on your text message sign-up form. - Check for accessibility alerts:
Follow the suggestions on the card to resolve or add the missing elements, and click Fix. - Ensure the form design is consistent:
Match your form to your brand's design colors, fonts, and images. - Proofread your content:
Check the label and spelling of all necessary fields. - Edit the Success step:
Include a thank-you message and special offers. - Ask for feedback:
Identify any issues or areas for improvement from your teammates.
Publish your form
In Klaviyo, you can instantly publish your form, set it to go live, or leave it in draft mode until you are ready to publish.
Ready to publish your form? Set your form to Live (or select the Publish button). If you still need more time or want to publish your form next month, simply exit your form.
Schedule your form
Say you have a seasonal version of your sign-up form that you'd like to set live on the first of the month. You can use Klaviyo's scheduling feature to do so.
Follow these steps to schedule your form:
- In the Sign-up forms tab, click the 3 dots on the right of your form.
- Click Schedule.
- Select your start and end dates (forms will remain live if you do not set an end date).
- Set your desired time zone.
- Click Schedule to save this schedule plan.
Schedule a stop date
Regardless of whether you publish instantly or schedule your form to go live at a later date, you can also schedule a date to stop showing your form. This is perfect for promotional holiday forms, limited time sales, or special events. Once your form is live, follow these steps to schedule when to pause or stop a live form:
- In the Sign-up forms tab, click the 3 dots on the right of your form.
- Select Schedule.
- Select a date and time for when you want to stop showing this form.
- Set your time zone.
- Select a date and time for when you want the form to go live again.
- Click Schedule to save this schedule plan.
