    In order to grow a healthy SMS subscriber base, you need to develop a complete understanding of your potential subscribers. Ask yourself the following questions:

    • Who are my potential subscribers?
      Pull together the data you have about your customer base and your leads, and define your target personas to help you focus your acquisition efforts on the right people.
    • What motivates my potential subscribers?
      With a solid idea of who you are marketing to, you should be able to strategize ways to communicate with them and motivate them to subscribe.
    • Where are my potential subscribers?

    Combine the answers to these questions to better understand your potential subscribers and how they interact with you. This will serve as a solid foundation to build out an acquisition strategy for SMS that will promote healthy growth of your subscriber base.
