What is the Social Content library?
The Social Content Library surfaces every place where your brand has been tagged, including:
- Posts
- Stories
- Reels
Unlike Engagement events, which capture the action and require a matching Klaviyo profile, the Social Content Library shows all tagged content from any creator with a public Instagram account, organized for your review and analysis.
Use Social Content effectively
Now that you know what the Social Content library is, let’s go a step further.
Click into the tabs below to learn real use cases for Social Content and what you can do to use this content effectively.
Engage with media across content types
The Social Content library lets you interact with tagged posts, stories, and reels all in 1 place. Use this to stay responsive online and interact with customers who are talking about your brand, both positively and negatively.
For example, you can:
- Find posts to like or comment on directly in Instagram.
- Quickly visualize and monitor customer sentiment across Instagram.
- Provide support to customers who shared feedback on your products or service experience.
Instructions:
- Navigate to Social Content.
- Filter the results based on what you are most interested in reviewing. Options include filtering by: media type, creator, date range, etc.
- Click the post to learn more, or navigate directly there on Instagram.
Re-share content
When a creator posts something worth amplifying, you can re-share it to your own channels directly. Use the filters at the top of the library to identify which content resonates most with your audience.
Then, re-share, either directly on social or across other owned channels, like email or text. To share via other Klaviyo channels, follow the instructions below.
Instructions:
- Find a post in the Social Content library that you’d like to share as a brand.
- Reach out directly to the creator for permission to share (e.g., Instagram DM).
- If permission is granted, save the media file as an image or GIF.
- Upload it to your email, text, or social campaign as you would any other asset.
- Where possible (e.g., within your social post or within an email campaign), credit the original creator with their post.
Identify top creators
Not all tagged content carries the same weight. Use the Social Content library to identify which creators are generating the most engagement around your brand: by reach, tagging frequency, or audience response. These are your potential brand advocates and UGC partners.
Instructions:
- Sort posts by top engagement to surface your high-performing creators within a set timeframe (e.g., in the last month).
- Check your Klaviyo profiles to determine whether top creators are already in your list to email them directly; otherwise, reach out via Instagram DM.
