Understand the Group Membership API

With the Group Membership API, you can extend your existing segmentation and targeting strategy out to your own website to create a truly cohesive customer experience. This API is a Advanced KDP-specific developer function that allows you to dynamically personalize content and experiences on your website based on a visitor’s membership to a list or a segment.
Note: This feature does require code implementation and maintenance that Klaviyo does not provide. If you have a full-time developer on your team, or you work with an agency who can manage development for you, this feature is a great fit for you. You can also use this API in combination with an onsite personalization platform like Nosto, Yieldify, Optimizely, or a similar tool. Before you make any implementations, work with your team to map out how you can extend your existing segmentation and targeting strategy onto your website at the audience level. Keep in mind, this API will not support personalization at the profile level, meaning you cannot create tailored experiences based on an individual customer’s profile properties. Think of this as an extension of your current campaign segmentation strategy.
