That said, there may come a time when you outgrow the functionality available in the Klaviyo Starter toolkit. Click into the dropdowns below to learn about instances when taking the next step for growth is right for you:
You're hitting sending limits
There may come a day when you've collected a large number of subscribers and exceed the number of reachable profiles or emails allowed within Klaviyo Starter.
More specifically, you will hit a limit when you’ve exceeded the following thresholds:
- 1 sign-up form on your website.
- 250 profiles.
- 500 emails sent per month (including both flows and campaigns).
- 4 automated flows with 1 email per flow.
If you ever hit a limit, do not lose momentum on growth! This is a sign that you need an expanded account, as you’ll continue to grow and earn more when you unlock new sending limits.
You'd like to unlock extra features
At some point in your marketing journey, you may decide that you'd like to unlock extra features that Klaviyo Starter does not have. Whether you heard about these features online from other marketers or have been exploring what else Klaviyo has to offer, it may be time to upgrade.
Some of the features you can unlock with a full Klaviyo account include:
- Omnichannel campaigns (sending email, text, push notifications, etc.)
- Segment builder (so you can create more robust, custom audiences)
- Custom reports, dashboards, benchmarks, and other analytics resources.
- Integrations with other platforms (loyalty, subscription, paid ads, etc.)
- Klaviyo Reviews
- Customer Hub
- Klaviyo Service tools (e.g., Helpdesk, Customer Agent, etc.)
- …and more!
You want to remove Klaviyo co-branding from messages
If you’d like to remove co-branding from your marketing messages (in this case, the phrase: "Made with Klaviyo"), you can do so when you enable a full Klaviyo account.
Right now, your free Klaviyo Starter includes this by default, but when you upgrade, you will unlock the ability to remove that co-branding and gain more control over your content creation and design process.
How to upgrade to a full account
If you find yourself reading any of the above dropdowns and thinking a full Klaviyo account is right for you, then it’s time to upgrade. Head to Upgrade Experience, or click into one of the alerts that encourage you to proceed to Klaviyo.
Once on klaviyo.com, you can launch a full account with more capabilities to explore and grow!
